Who saved our children.

Every Dog has a tale to tell, and if George was alive today, he would probably just bark a humble and quiet bark.  But the world came to learn how this very brave dog, risked his life to save five children he loved dearly, from two angry dogs who were not out to play with his friends.

This is our Story as we know it.

George was our neighbour's dog, and the five children he saved, were our children.  This website speaks of all we have experienced knowing George our Hero dog, and is dedicated to his owner Alan Gay.  An intimate and true account of what happened the day he saved our children, how he come to know us in the first place, and why his life and death has left such an impact on our lives.

We are still living through the trauma, which is why I decided to write this site.  I was told that it would be therapeudic to make a scrapbook, diary or memorial page, as I worked through my children's healing and my own healing as well.  I welcome you on this journey.
